We are a fine home & interiors store on Delmarva for over
35 years. I spent many years oversea in the summer which was a major influence on style. At some point I caught the “rug bug” never to look back. My first store was Firehouse Antiques and Accessories in Lewes. My store was housed in the firehouse and jail which my husband renovated on Third Street. I have had many other locations in Lewes throughout the years, in addition to locations in The historic district in Salisbury, Bethany and of late, Milford. Throughout the years I have met so many lovely and loyal customers and their children now, who hold a  very special place in my heart. Their patronage will always be appreciated.

Our specialty is hand knotted unique carpets for home or office, fine art and all aspects related to making your home or office an extraordinary sanctuary.

With regard to fine rugs, Josephine Keir offers mainly naturally dyed hand woven oriental, contemporary and tribal rugs.  Handmade rugs consist of natural materials that have a long life, making them a most sustainable product. We support and patronize only producers that are socially responsible which insures that our rugs and carpet accessories are made with integrity.

As an interior design establishment, we work with many wonderful vendors in all aspects of the home from lighting , wallpapers, fabrics to American made upholstery.
